The organization's Roles and Responsibilities are 1. Athlete Development -Identify and nurture talented athletes -Support training programs and coaching 2. Competition Management -Organize national athletics competitions -Select athletes for international events (Olympics, World Championships) 3. International Representation -Represent Ethiopia in: World Athletics 4. Regulation and Governance -Set rules and standards for athletics in Ethiopia -Ensure compliance with international regulations 5. Promotion of Athletics -Promote long-distance running and other disciplines -Encourage youth participation
