Keneni Flour Factory is the second industry found in Harar City in kebele 19 around Hararesa edible factory in the eastern part of the country which is around 510 kms from Addis Ababa. The company started its operation in 2012 EC. it produces wheat flour at 42 tons/day. it is the second modern food processing plants in east Hararghe Zone, Ethiopia. Keneni Flour Factory, commending their contributions to the region’s economic growth. He noted that the factory is playing a vital role in supporting corridor development and urban improvement projects in Harar and surrounding areas. Keneni Flour Factory, is helping to strengthen food security by producing wheat and wheat bran flour and ensuring affordable access for the community through wholesale and retail channels. In Harari region a symbolic indicator in growing industrial and agricultural enterprises as practical models for Ethiopia’s broader national development, in the city and the surrounding.
