The Oromia Environmental Protection Authority is responsible for: -Developing and enforcing environmental protection policies and regulations in the Oromia region. -Conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for development projects. -Monitoring industrial pollution and waste management. -Promoting sustainable natural resource management. -Coordinating environmental conservation programs with government institutions, NGOs, and communities. -Raising public awareness on environmental protection and climate change.
