The Ethiopian Roads Administration (ERA) (formerly Authority), established in 1951, is the autonomous government agency responsible for planning, building, maintaining, and managing Ethiopia's trunk and major link roads. It ensures the development of sustainable, high-standard road infrastructure under the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure.
