The Space Science and Geospatial Institute (SSGI) is an autonomous Ethiopian federal agency (established 2022 by merging ESSTI and Geospatial Information Institute) that leads national space science, technology, and geospatial activities. It focuses on research, satellite operations, remote sensing, and building spatial infrastructure to support Ethiopia's socioeconomic development, environmental monitoring, and sustainable development goals.
