Mugher Cement Enterprise is a state-owned cement manufacturing company in Ethiopia, established in 1984 G.C. (1976 E.C.) during the Derg regime. The factory is located near the Mugher River, about 90 km west of Addis Ababa, and it has grown to become one of the largest cement producers in the country, with a production capacity of around 900,000 tons per year. The enterprise produces mainly Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC), supplying both government and private construction projects.
