Water Works Corporation (WWC) is a major Ethiopian public construction and engineering organization that specializes in water infrastructure and related civil works. It traces its origins to the merger of regional water works construction and drilling enterprises under the Amhara Regional Government in 2015 E.C. (around 2023 G.C.), forming a unified corporation operating at a high capacity to deliver water supply systems, dam and irrigation construction, sewerage systems, borehole drilling, pumping and electromechanical installations across Ethiopia and beyond. The corporation also engages in training, manufacturing, and diversified business operations within the sector. WWC’s core services include construction of water supply networks, sewerage systems, dams and irrigation infrastructure, as well as electromechanical works such as pump and generator installation, all delivered with a vision of becoming a leading water construction contractor in East Africa.
