Ethiopian pulp and paper share company (EPPSC), established around 1963 and later recognized in 1995 (E.C.), is a primary Ethiopian manufacturer of paper, carton boxes, and packaging materials located in Wonji. Owned 70% by the government and 30% by the IFC, it produces writing, printing, and corrugated paper, serving the local manufacturing industry. The factory is located at Wonji, with headquarters in Addis Ababa.Produces paper products (writing, printing, wrapping, board) and carton boxes/trays.Originally designed for 25 tons daily (8,500 tons annually), with later reports indicating production of approximately 10,000 tons of paper and 11,470 tons of corrugated paper annually.
