Raya Brewery is a large beer factory in the town of Maychew, northern Ethiopia. It started in 2015 as a project by local people but is now owned by a big company called BGI Ethiopia. The brewery makes "Raya Beer," which many people in the north feel proud of because it uses their local name. Although the factory had to stop working for two years due to a war, it opened again in 2023 and is now making a lot of beer.
