Awash Marble Processing, operated by the National Mining Corporation PLC (NMC), is located in Awash 7 kilo within the Afar region. As part of the MIDROC Investment Group, NMC engages in the extraction and processing of marble and other dimensional stones. The company sources its raw materials from quarries in the Oromia and Benshangul-Gumuz regions, with processing facilities situated in both Addis Ababa and Awash 7 kilo. In addition to marble, NMC is involved in gold production, contributing to the diverse portfolio of the MIDROC Investment Group.
