The factory is located at Awash Melkassa; East Shoa Zone, 105 km from Addis Ababa and 15 km from Adama /Nazareth/ on the way to Asela. The factory has a sales center and store at Addis Ababa; Akaki Kality Sub city, district 06, Abo Saris area. Awash Melkassa Chemical Factory; with its modern technology of manufacturing and environmentally friendly manufacturing practices, producing different types of high quality  chemical products, using high quality raw materials; both from local and foreign sources. As the factory is almost covering the local market, its role in playing import substitutions is considerable. The factory contributes a substantial role for the country development and industrial growth by supplying different types of high quality chemical products for the local market. It also brings foreign currency to the country by supplying its products to some of its neighboring countries.
